Dr. Joshua Weitzel, Principal

Mr. Weitzel

Dr. Joshua Weitzel joined the Manheim Central High School administrative team in April of 2013 as an Assistant Principal/Assistant Athletic Director.

In 2018, Dr. Weitzel was named Principal of Manheim Central High School.  Prior to arriving at Manheim Central, he was a high school social studies teacher at Oxford High School in Oxford, PA and Norman High School in Norman, OK. 

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Weitzel has served as co-sponsor for the Global Awareness Club and as a head assistant wrestling coach. 

Educationally, Dr. Weitzel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education and Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. 

Dr. Weitzel resides in Lancaster with his wife and two daughters.

Mrs. Megan Flinchbaugh, Assistant Principal

High School Administrator Megan Flinchbaugh

Mrs. Megan Flinchbaugh has been with Manheim Central High School since 2015, first as a teacher and now as Assistant Principal.

At MCHS, Mrs. Flinchbaugh served as a class advisor, co-advisor of Spanish Club and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, and mentor to student teachers. Outside the district, Mrs. Flinchbaugh is a regular presenter at regional and national education conferences, creator and provider of professional development workshops, and is a long-time member and officer of the Executive Council of the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association. 

Since earning her undergraduate degree in Spanish Education from Millersville University, she has earned three additional degrees: MBA from Foro Europeo (Navarra, Spain), MSW from Temple University, and most recently, M. Ed. in Leadership for Teaching and Learning from Millersville University.

Before joining the administration team at MCHS in 2025, she spent 20 years as a high school Spanish teacher. She remains passionate about world languages and cultures, especially learning about others through books, travel, and language.

Mr. Eric Beiler, Assistant Principal

High School Administrator Eric Beiler

Mr. Eric Beiler joined the Manheim Central High School administrative team as an Assistant Principal in September 2025.

He began his teaching career as a Technology and Engineering teacher at Derry Township High School. He continued teaching at both the middle and high school levels in the Palmyra Area School District. While at Palmyra, Mr. Beiler developed a unique Guitar Theory and Design course that allowed students to learn to play the guitar while designing and building their own custom instrument. He also served as a FIRST Robotics advisor and coached high school softball.

In 2021, Mr. Beiler became an Assistant Principal at Elizabethtown Area High School. Since 2024, he has served in a dual role, supporting both the high school and middle school as an Assistant Principal until joining Manheim Central. 

Mr. Beiler earned a degree in Technology Education from Millersville University. He later completed a Master’s degree in Emergency Management from Millersville, a Master’s in STEM Education from Lebanon Valley College, and an Educational Leadership Certification program through the University of Scranton.

Outside of education, Mr. Beiler served as Pennsylvania State FFA Secretary from 2006–2007 and has held the position of Assistant Chief with the Manheim Fire Company. He resides in Manheim with his family.
